Welcome and Inspiration

Welcome to my Maddie Rose Design Blog. I am hoping to give you all some insight to why I do what I do, what inspires me, maybe a tutorial here and there, and most definitely some random mumblings. Make sure to leave comments, whether it be encouragement, constructive criticism or questions.

Now onto inspiration. I was in a particular store....you know the one....we cuss it, swear we will never set foot in it again, and marvel at how we keep walking through the doors....yeah, I thought you knew which one I was talking about. Anyway, I was there with my two daughters in tow and decided to scope out the Valentine's day stuff.

There we were walking through the rows and rows of pink, red and purple, giant stuffed animals, mounds of chocolate and cheesy sayings when I spot the cutest cupcake cups. I fell in love! I snatched up those bad boys and threw them in the cart along with my diapers, wipes, laundry detergent and such. Then I proceeded to stand in line while weird people oogled over my daughters (don't get me started on that one) and bought the inspiration for my Valentine Striped Card.

Who would have thunk it. Inspiration from a big box store (oops, did I say too much??).
